SAT :

Scholastic Assessment Test is widely used to enrol in the universities of the United States of America. It takes 3 hours to complete and 50 more minutes for SAT with an essay. Possible scores on the SAT range from 400 to 1600, combining test results from two 800-point sections: Mathematics and Critical Reading and Writing. The test is designed to measure critical thinking and analytical skills. The new SAT has an optional, 50 minutes essay component that will be given at the end of the SAT. Postsecondary institutions will determine whether they will require the Essay for admission.

Remember:

The SAT is a 3 hour 50 minutes exam (including an optional essay which takes 50 minutes)

The Test consist of four sections: Reading, Writing, Maths (with calculator& with no calculator), and Essay (optional)

Each section scored out of 800, are combined to create a composite score for a maximum possible score of 1600.

College Board does not deduct any points for an incorrect question.
